The Town of West Newbury is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Experienced Equipment Operator within the Department of Public Works. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend on-call coverage. This position is covered under Teamsters Union Local #170.
Qualified candidates must possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement, a hoisting license, and a minimum of three years of experience operating heavy automotive equipment.
The position offers an FY27 hourly rate of $33.75, along with on-call stipends, a clothing allowance, and additional stipends for applicable licenses and certifications.
