Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Day Habilitation Route Driver to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by providing safe and dependable transportation to and from our Day Habilitation program.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles along established routes.
- Pick up consumers from their homes in the morning and transport them to the Day Habilitation center.
- Drive consumers back home at the end of the program day.
- Assist consumers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Complete required documentation and communicate any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid CLASS E driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Friendly, patient, and caring demeanor.
