Overview
NEEDED: A Kitchen Assistant Supervisor/shift lead. Full time active cooking position.
Shift Lead for catering and on site prep for in house events when scheduled.
High volume, high pressure. Must be able to handle being in the weeds.
Evenings and weekends mandatory.
Duties
- Assist kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service delivery
- Lead food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste
- Enforce sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Lead shift management by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining a positive team environment
- Ensure proper handling of food products, including storage, labeling, and rotation to maintain freshness and safety.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or food service environment.
- Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of large-scale event catering operations
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
