You will be working with adults (ages 18-22) with disabilities work on life skills and gain job experience in the community. You will work one-on-one with students and in small groups. The students work on things like cooking, cleaning, budgeting money, etc., anything that will help them become more independent. They also do volunteer work in the community 4 days a week to gain work experience to help build a resume to get a job in the future. As a paraprofessional, you are there to help the students achieve their goals and learn these new skills.
The max amount of hours a person can work is 29 hours. The hours we're needing filled are Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 2:15 and Friday 7:30 - 1:05. If you're not able to work every day, then Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs/Fri with those same hours would be great! We can be flexible within those hours as well, just let us know what your schedule looks like. Starting pay is $16.04 but can go up from there depending on experience.
