Job Summary
Super Bright Services is looking for an experienced Residential New Construction Electrician to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team.
This position is responsible for performing final electrical quality-control inspections in newly constructed homes, identifying and correcting incomplete or deficient work, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring each home is ready for inspection and turnover.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential new construction and is familiar with all phases of electrical installation, including rough, trim, hot checks, troubleshooting, and final inspections.
This is not an entry-level position. Previous electrical experience in residential new construction is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality-assurance inspections in newly constructed homes
- Inspect electrical rough and trim installations for workmanship, completeness, and code compliance
- Complete hot checks and verify that electrical devices, fixtures, outlets, switches, breakers, and circuits are functioning properly
- Identify and correct punch-list items before builder or municipal inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete necessary repairs
- Verify proper panel labeling, breaker installation, device operation, GFCI/AFCI protection, and circuit functionality
- Confirm that work complies with company standards, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes
- Document completed inspections, deficiencies, and repairs
- Take and submit clear photos of completed work when required
- Communicate job-site issues clearly and promptly to supervisors and office staff
- Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and materials in clean and organized condition
- Travel between assigned job sites using the company-provided vehicle
- Follow all company procedures and job-site safety requirements
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential electrical new construction
- Strong knowledge of rough, trim, hot checks, troubleshooting, and final electrical inspections
- Ability to identify installation deficiencies and complete repairs independently
- Ability to read electrical plans, panel schedules, and job specifications
- Familiarity with current residential electrical codes and safety requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites
- Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and office staff
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing electrical QA, punch-out, or final inspections
- Experience working with production home builders
- Experience troubleshooting AFCI, GFCI, breaker, lighting, outlet, and appliance-circuit issues
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
