Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced server to join our Vinca at Arista team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has availability Tuesday-Saturday evenings from 3-9 and looking to work at least 4 out of the 5 days we offer dinner service. Candidates who have strong hospitality skills, basic wine and beverage knowledge, and a passion for service should apply.
Duties
- Greet guest and seat them at tables
- Take food and beverage orders, run these orders to the tables.
- Bus your tables and reset them
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dinning room area
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering services to ensure seamless service.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work 4 shifts a week.
- Must be able to preform wine bottle service table side
- Previous server experience in an elevated dinning setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in catering or banquet service is advantageous but not required.
- Must possess effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
