About the Opportunity
Willspace is looking for a small number of serious, curious and highly teachable people who want to become exceptional movement teachers.
This is not a position for an established trainer looking to add a few clients to an existing schedule. It is an entry-level employment and professional-development path for someone who wants to build a meaningful career around teaching, practice and client service.
The Willspace Teacher Apprenticeship combines:

The goal is not simply to hire trainers. The goal is to develop teachers.
Compensation
This is a W-2 employment position.
The Teacher Apprenticeship begins at $25–$30 per hour for paid Willspace working hours, depending on experience, background, availability and demonstrated readiness.
This is an entry-level development role, not a senior trainer position. Apprentices are paid for their work at Willspace while they develop the skill, judgment and professionalism required to teach clients independently.
Compensation increases as Apprentice demonstrates reliability, teaching ability, client responsibility, professional judgment and contribution to the studio.

- A brief written statement explaining why you are interested in becoming a movement teacher
- A short description of your current physical practice, training background or coaching experience
- One to three short videos showing your current movement practice, teaching, coaching or physical training
The videos do not need to show advanced skills. We are more interested in how you practice, how you learn and how you communicate than in performance level.
