Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and help identify new project opportunities within the construction and concrete pumping industry.
This position will play an important role in prospecting, qualifying leads, tracking project opportunities, supporting sales and branch operations, and helping ensure a positive customer experience from initial contact through project completion. The role will work closely with dispatch, operations, outside sales, and leadership teams to support customer needs, improve follow-up, and help maximize equipment utilization and market share. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with concrete contractors, general contractors, developers, project owners, estimators, and other industry contacts.
- Conduct outbound prospecting calls and follow up with customers to help generate new business opportunities.
- Identify upcoming projects through bid boards, permit activity, industry contacts, customer relationships, CRM tools, and other lead sources.
- Qualify incoming leads and gather information needed for effective follow-up by the appropriate sales or operations team member.
- Support quote follow-up efforts to help uncover additional customer needs, project opportunities, and potential revenue.
- Track project opportunities from initial identification through bidding, scheduling, and project completion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, bid activity, project schedules, and sales opportunities.
- Support outside sales efforts by scheduling meetings, gathering project information, and coordinating customer visits as needed.
- Monitor market activity, construction trends, and customer needs within the assigned territory.
- Generate and review sales activity, pipeline, and project tracking reports for leadership.
- Coordinate with dispatch, branch management, and operations teams to support customer expectations, scheduling needs, and equipment utilization.
- Participate in sales, strategy, and branch operations meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, dispatch, project coordination, construction services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in concrete pumping, ready-mix concrete, heavy equipment rental, construction services, specialty contracting, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on customer and project needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, scheduling tools, or similar software.
- Ability to read project schedules, construction plans, or specifications is a plus.
