Bartender / Guest Experience Associate Position Overview
Join one of the most unique hospitality destinations in the North Carolina High Country. This guest-facing role combines bartending with front desk and guest services responsibilities. You'll be welcoming travelers, serving craft beer, wine, and cocktails, assisting guests with their stays, and helping create memorable experiences.
This is a tipped position in a fun, guest-focused environment with live music, weddings, special events, and visitors from all over the country.
Bartenders also take food orders, allowing them to earn tips on both beverage and food sales. This creates additional built-in earning opportunities throughout every shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional bartending service and prepare a variety of beer, wine, cocktail, and specialty beverage offerings.
- Take food orders and deliver a welcoming guest experience.
- Assist with hotel check-ins, walk in reservations, and guest requests.
- Answer questions about the property and local area.
- Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready work areas.
- Follow all alcohol service and safety regulations.
- Support team members and help create memorable guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Ability to consistently prepare quality cocktails and create new cocktail offerings.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
