Role Overview
The Channel Account Manager actively identifies, pursues, and engages in building long-term relationships with both current and new distributors. In this role, you will act as a key connector between our corporate teams, distributors, and representatives to drive regional market share.
While technical clarity regarding our products is important, we prioritize individuals with a strong aptitude for learning quickly. Complete training on our industry and product ecosystem will be provided, allowing you to rapidly master the market and effectively convey the Company's brand value to elicit favorable reactions from target customers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
1. Distributor Relations & Channel Growth
· Partnership Management: Foster and develop strong, supportive relationships with current and prospective channel distributors.
· Market Expansion: Assist distributors in activating and developing tier-2 clients, extending the sales pipeline for sell-out data and growing overall market share.
· Channel Support: Serve as a core coordinator bridging the distributor’s sales teams, internal VOD product teams, and external representative (REP) firms to seamlessly complete transactions.
· Inventory Tracking: Monitor distributors' purchase, sales, and inventory data to help channel partners maintain a healthy, stable business status.
2. Technical Enablement & Sales Operations
· Product Education: Train and educate distributor sales and engineering teams on specialized VOD solutions and equipment.
· Commercial Enablement: Provide accurate sales quotes, calculations, and modern sales tools to distributors for upcoming VOD projects.
· Demo Facilitation: Play an integral role in critical project demo "shoot-outs," traveling alongside the sales team to present product solutions, address customer objections, and analyze specific project needs.
3. Events & Strategic Travel
· Brand Representation: Attend key trade shows, corporate training sessions, conferences, and industry events to actively promote the company to distributors and their reseller networks.
· Field Engagement: Travel throughout the year for regional business meetings, product demonstrations, and strategic networking events.

Role Requirements & Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a major in Engineering, Business Administration, or Business Management.
· Experience: Entry-level to junior professional (0–2 years). A background in sales, engineering, or project management is welcomed; prior LED industry experience is preferred but not mandatory for fast learners.
· Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
· Location & Flexibility: Hybrid/Remote footprint based near our Sacramento or Fort Worth offices and warehouses. Must be willing to work flexible hours or occasional overtime to accommodate travel schedule, trade shows, or client events.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to independently lift and manage up to 20 lbs consecutively during equipment setups and product demonstrations.
Compensation Range
· Total Compensation: $115,000 to $125,000 (inclusive of base salary plus sales commission and bonus opportunities), scaling dynamically based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location
Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
