Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Young 3’s Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment tailored specifically for children in their third year of life. Your primary focus will be fostering developmental growth through engaging activities, personalized learning experiences, and compassionate guidance. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and physical development in young children.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and other innovative teaching strategies tailored to toddler care.
- Monitor each child's developmental progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when applicable; adjust instruction accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or behavior.
- Maintain accurate classroom records including attendance, incident reports, and lesson documentation in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in classroom management and curriculum delivery while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience designing curriculum development plans that integrate literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention practices, and childhood welfare standards is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in Montessori teaching or preschool education are a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while maintaining professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare ensures compliance with legal requirements at all times.
