In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care to clients across diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Your proactive approach and attentive care will foster trusting relationships and promote well-being in a supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients to enhance their quality of life through compassionate assistance and tailored support. I am looking for someone who can do 24 hour shifts, nights and days, weekends. Days needs to be flexiable to cover vacations. Have cpr, pass a background, 6 hour dementia with some of this classes will help right canadiate. I am currently looking for an on call person someone who is available to work any day or night and weeekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence.
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility devices or assistive tools to ensure safety during movement.
- Document care activities accurately and maintain detailed records of client interactions and observations.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare providers, family members, and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt quickly to changing client needs.
- Experience working with elderly populations or individuals requiring post-acute or sub-acute care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, geriatrics, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and inpatient care settings enhances your effectiveness.
