Job Title: Live Stream Auction Host (Whatnot Experience Required)
We’re hiring an energetic, reliable Live Stream Auction Host to run engaging, high-converting live auctions on Whatnot.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on camera, knows how to create momentum during a live sale, and has proven experience hosting live auctions. Applicants must have prior live auction hosting experience to be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Host live auctions on Whatnot from start to finish
- Present products clearly, accurately, and enthusiastically on camera
- Keep the stream engaging by interacting with viewers and responding to questions in real time
- Build excitement, manage pacing, and encourage competitive bidding
- Accurately identify, organize, and display items during each sale
- Follow auction procedures, pricing guidance, and platform policies
- Help prepare inventory, show setup, and auction flow before going live
- Maintain a professional, positive, and dependable presence during every stream
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience hosting live auctions is required
- Experience hosting auctions on Whatnot is strongly preferred
- Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging a live audience
- Strong sales, presentation, and customer-service skills
- Ability to think quickly, stay organized, and maintain energy in a fast-paced live environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled live-sale times
- Comfortable using smartphones, livestreaming equipment, and online selling platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling collectibles, fashion, trading cards, jewelry, vintage goods, or similar products
- Existing knowledge of the Whatnot platform and live-selling best practices
- Experience with inventory handling, product sourcing, or e-commerce fulfillment
