Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and catering options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Cook in fine dining or high-volume restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Experience in food preparation techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking.
