Rehn & Associates is a premier Third-Party Administrator (TPA) based in Spokane, Washington. As a TPA we provide an innovative approach to Employee Benefits Administration. We are looking for a full time Software Developer to join our Programming and Development Team. Our team is dedicated to customizing benefit designs to meet the unique needs of our Trust client base, and your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a reliable and efficient IT environment, enabling Rehn & Associates to focus on delivering exceptional services to their clients.
As a Software Developer, you will develop and maintain client server software used by our local staff to support our client's benefit administration. We are looking for developers who can work well in a team with a positive attitude, solid skill set and desire to provide excellent software solutions to both our internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities Include:
- Transforming our client’s business requirements into a full stack solution, which integrates with existing systems and databases.
- New development and understanding, maintaining, and enhancing existing software.
- Application design, development and support using C#, MS SQL.
- Database design using tables, views, stored procs, triggers, indexing, etc.
- Troubleshooting user software problems.
- Documenting work completed.
- Clear communication. Relational skills. Good sense of humor.
Requirements Include:
- In depth experience with .Net Framework, C# and MS SQL, Entity Framework.
- Data Modeling and System Architecture.
- Must demonstrate clear understanding of relational databases.
- Must understand and demonstrate clear understanding of object-oriented development.
Bonus Skills Include:
- Experience with DevExpress Components and Controls
- Experience with Claude Code and other AI tools
- WEB: ASP.NET MVC, WCF.
- Medical Claim adjudication experience.
- EDI X12 background (837, 835, 834).
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Is preferred.
**Relevant experience is highly valued and will be considered in lieu of a degree
Programming Requirements:
- Minimum of One (1) year of In-depth experience with .Net Framework, C# and MS SQL, Entity Framework.
- Data Modeling and System Architecture is a plus.
- Will be required to demonstrate clear understanding of relational databases
- Will be required to demonstrate and show clear understanding of object-oriented development.
Certifications:
Professional Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
