Contact Technologies, Inc., a provider of high-quality electrical contacts and assemblies for industrial and residential electrical equipment, is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer to support our industrial processes and drive continuous improvement in first time quality, efficiency, and process standardization.
Candidates with experience in quality/process improvement is desired. Familiarity with molding, sintering, and sizing processes is a plus.
Duties would include but not limited to:
- Review and disposition MRB daily.
- Lead problem solving activities for customer complaints.
- Update/create check sheets, visual aids, PPAPs, and other various quality documents.
- Support production floor on day-to-day quality issues.
Job qualifications:
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- 5 Why and 8D knowledge
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Working experience with lean management tools
- Measurment equipment experience
- Blueprint reading and technical skills
