As a Chimney & Fireplace Technician / Sweep, you will:
- Inspect & Diagnose: Perform thorough chimney and fireplace inspections to identify any structural concerns or safety hazards.
- Clean & Maintain: Use professional tools to remove soot, creosote, and debris, ensuring safe operation of chimneys and flues.
- Repair & Install: Complete minor masonry repairs, chimney cap installations, and other related tasks. (Major projects may involve collaborating with our roofing or masonry crews.)
- Educate Customers: Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners, upholding our commitment to honest, high-quality service.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Follow industry standards (including CSIA guidelines) and adhere to all Lioncrest safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year in chimney sweeping, masonry, roofing, construction, or a related trade.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable with heights, climbing ladders, lifting 50+ lbs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable truck or van preferred.
- License & Clean Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Schedule & Availability
- Job Type: Full-time (Contract options available)
- Hours: Typical 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Occasional weekends or overtime if desired.
- Service Area: Greater Portland region, with start/end times varying by client location.
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $30-40 per hour, based on experience and skill level, with weekly performance bonuses
- Safety Gear Provided: Harnesses, respirators, and any necessary protective equipment

Pay: $30.84 - $37.15 per hour
