The Willis Knighton Bossier Day Surgery (DS) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing Surgical Services team. This full-time position consists of eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The selected candidate will be cross-trained and oriented to both the Day Surgery and PACU areas and will be expected to rotate between the hospital and outpatient Pavilion as departmental needs require. Participation in the call schedule is also required.
Qualified applicants must possess a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license and have a minimum of two years of recent experience in PACU, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Emergency Department (ED) nursing. Current ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred; however, certification may be obtained following hire if necessary.
