SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient loading and shipping processes, and a safe, organized work environment. This role supervises warehouse activities, supports delivery operations, and works closely with internal teams to ensure products are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Verify that all route trucks are properly loaded before driver departure, ensuring correct product, quantities, and product condition.
- Identify and resolve loading discrepancies, including shortages, incorrect products, damaged goods, or improperly stacked pallets.
- Document and report loading or inventory issues to prevent future errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory through daily cycle counts, variance reconciliation, and inventory system updates.
- Assist the Shop AriZona team with shipping and receiving activities.
- Receive inbound deliveries by unloading product, verifying quantities against Bills of Lading (BOLs), and confirming receipt with delivery drivers.
- Coordinate outbound shipments by loading customer vehicles, verifying product against invoices and BOLs, and obtaining appropriate documentation.
- Notify appropriate personnel when customer orders are available for warehouse pickup.
- Coordinate the preparation and loading of donated products, point-of-sale materials, and coolers for delivery using company vehicles.
- Monitor and record truck departure and arrival times, mileage, and delivery activity.
- Report any routes that were not loaded or completed as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including proper pallet storage and housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- CDL and Forklift Certification required.
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate warehouse personnel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Supervises warehouse staff and daily warehouse operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving equipment, forklifts, varying temperatures, and physical labor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
