Job Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have ample years in the field and a current list of clientele. A robust commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. Looking for 5 days a week commitment and two Saturdays a month.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or behavioral concerns, reporting findings to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with pet owners and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet care or grooming , preferably with current book of clientele, ( will be a bonus if you bring your client list), dress professional, clean neat appearance.
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including animal restraint.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and provide them with a positive experience.
- Experience in related fields such as grooming, be willing to work front desk and general kennel work as needed.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential for this role.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 50.0 per week
