Westminster School for Young Children is currently accepting applicants for Pre-Kindergarten teaching positions for the 2026-2027 school year. WSYC serves children ages 1-5 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm.
WSYC is NAEYC-accredited and DHS-licensed program. We are committed to play-based learning in a creative, nurturing, and Christian environment. The ideal candidate has teaching experience and/or academic training in early childhood education. We believe that a strong relationship with our families is central to serving children and therefore strong written and verbal skills are required. WSYC classrooms are co-taught with teachers sharing planning and communication responsibilities equitably. Demonstrated ability to work on a team is critical. Pre-kindergarten teachers should have classroom experience in a play-based learning environment. Teacher will be responsible for early literacy instruction, numeracy instruction, as well as social-emotional readiness for kindergarten.
