Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their automotive needs are met with exceptional service. This role involves communicating effectively with customers about their vehicle's maintenance and repair requirements while providing expert advice on services and products.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle service.
- Assess customer needs by discussing vehicle performance issues and recommending appropriate services, including oil changes, shocks and struts replacement, and air brake repairs.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and explain the recommended services to customers, emphasizing the benefits of each.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process to foster long-term relationships with clients.
- Stay informed about dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including experience with shocks struts, oil changes, air brakes, and auto body repair.
- Proven sales skills with experience in upselling automotive services or products.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is a plus.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and automotive sales processes is advantageous.
- A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,057.00 - $59,493.00 per year
