Hot House Tavern is a high-volume restaurant located in the original fire station and Village Hall in downtown Menomonee Falls. Hot House is seeking a full-time kitchen supervisor to help facilitate and oversee all kitchen operations in the morning shifts. We are looking for the right candidate who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and understands the priorities of our customers, employees, and community.
Hot House Tavern opened in the fall of 2019, survived the covid pandemic, and is now thriving. We have a strong kitchen staff. We are seeking the right leader to assist the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and other kitchen supervisors with opening the restaurant, inventory, product rotation, hiring, training, preventative equipment maintenance, banquet food, catering, food safety, staff management and cleaning.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:
Opening the restaurant according to Management's protocols and procedures
Food inventory, receiving orders, and product rotation
Staff training and orientation
Personnel supervising and managing and enforcing policies
Evaluating and delegating prep list
Cooking
Kitchen production & expediting
Cleaning
Banquet and festival facilitation
Experience:
2 to 3 years cooking experience preferred
Personnel supervision experience a must
Requirements:
Serv Safe Certification (can obtain)
Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to work shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays. Sundays required
Must have above average organizational skills
Must be self-motivated
Must have leadership qualities
Must be able to work in fast-paced, high volume environment production facility
Must be able to follow and enforce procedures and policies
Must be able to stand for 10 hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
