Job Description:
Summit Staffing is seeking an experienced Line Lead to support manufacturing operations in Bolingbrook, IL. The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line activities, leading production associates, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and helping achieve daily production goals. This role serves as a key point of contact between production employees and supervisors while maintaining an efficient and organized production environment.

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule Flexibility: Must be flexible based on production needs
Pay Range: $20 - $22
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of production associates on the manufacturing line.
- Ensure daily production goals, schedules, and quality expectations are met.
- Train new employees on work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality requirements.
- Assign daily tasks and adjust staffing based on production demands.
- Ensure employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.
- Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and minor equipment adjustments.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and quality issues to management.
- Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
- Motivate team members and promote a positive, productive work environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Line Lead, Team Lead, Production Lead, or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
