Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to set up and print various projects on the 3D printers, laser cutters, and other architectural modeling technology and/or assisting the Architecture Shop Manager in setting up, cleaning, and monitoring the Wood and Metals Shops.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 2 courses earning 6 credit hours each Fall & Spring semesters while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Professional verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain and assist in the development of lab/shop policies and procedures.
Knowledge of 3D printing technology.
Knowledge of various CADD and 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of plotters and printers and/or basic shop safety practices and construction technologies.
Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Second year Architectural/Drafting Technology or Engineering student.
