We are a busy, fast-paced dog daycare and boarding facility dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and enriching environment for every dog in our care. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment for dogs of all sizes and personality. Your daily interactions will promote positive behavior, ensure animal safety, and deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your animal handling skills, and be part of a passionate team dedicated to pet well-being.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor outdoor dog playgroups throughout the day, ensuring safe interactions, while preventing conflicts through proper canine handling and restraint techniques
- Building strong relationships with the dogs, ensuring each dog’s comfort and well-being during their time with us
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility by cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment
- Communicate with coworkers to ensure every dog receives exceptional care.
- Deliver outstanding customer service during drop-off and pick-up.
- Qualifications
- Experience in pet sitting, grooming, kennel work, or animal care facilities is required
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, and pet grooming are beneficial
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
