The HVAC Technician will apply their technical skills and knowledge to install / service HVAC Equipment in residential settings. They are also responsible for providing timely and quality repairs of customers' products (Heat Pumps, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Gas Furnaces & Boilers) while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Position Summary: This is manual work. Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems. Work involves performance of skilled HVAC tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of HVAC equipment. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, cooling, water, sheet metal and other HVAC related parts and equipment,
- Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and/or duct using hand and power tools.
- Assembles ductwork, cuts sheet metal, and duct insulation.
- Troubleshoot & repair or replace heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment and assemblies.
- Assist other technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the HVAC industry
- VRF experience desired.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Must have EPA Certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces & in all types of weather.
- Ability to pass drug & background test.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Overtime (as needed)
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
