Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify intoxicated guests, and implement appropriate intervention procedures.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure all ingredients are available for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination, catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a bartender or in a similar food service role within the food industry or hospitality sector is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Experience in fine dining environments or banquet settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Background in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, or catering enhances your ability to manage transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities are vital for success in this role.
