Our Client is in search of a seasoned Director of New Business Development to spearhead growth in the realm of Aerospace Engineering Services. We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented individual with a proven track record in engineering and technical services, deep industry connections, and a knack for forging new partnerships and expanding existing collaborations with Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
The ideal candidate will bring a consultative, solution-focused sales approach and work hand-in-hand with engineering and delivery teams to present innovative, high-value solutions to clients.
Location: Eastern United States | Remote / Work from Home
Identify, cultivate, and finalize new business prospects for engineering services within the aerospace sector.
Leverage and broaden an existing network of Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to bolster continuous revenue growth.
Formulate and execute a strategic business development strategy aligned with the organization’s aerospace engineering capabilities.
Lead solution-driven sales efforts, showcasing engineering design, analysis, digital engineering, and testing services to tackle customer challenges.
Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure technical synchronization and successful solution delivery.
Take charge of the entire sales process, from qualifying opportunities to developing proposals, setting pricing strategies, engaging in contract negotiations, and finalizing deals.
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to proactively identify emerging opportunities.
8–10+ years of experience in business development or sales within engineering services, specifically in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Demonstrated success in selling engineering, design, or technology-focused services to Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Established relationships with key aerospace accounts and a track record of opening new doors.
Sound technical and commercial acumen, able to translate intricate engineering solutions into tangible business advantages.
Outstanding executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Self-motivated, results-driven leader who excels in a remote setting and collaborates seamlessly with global teams.
Willing to travel within the Eastern U.S. and internationally as necessary.
