Job Summary
JCK Transport LLC is seeking an experienced driver to join our team! As an over-the-road driver, you will ensure the safe transport of cargo to companies across the Midwest.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Navigate routes effectively while maintaining delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo details.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving,
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum six (6) months to one (1) year experience driving a manual semi-truck.
- Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $0.50 - $0.60 per mile
