Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Packaging and Filling Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating packaging and filling machinery to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe production processes. Responsibilities
- Operate packaging and filling machinery efficiently, monitoring performance throughout production runs
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to optimize output
- Ensure products are filled accurately according to specifications, verifying weights and measurements with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in compliance with CGMP standards
- Use forklift and pallet jack to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies safely within the warehouse or production area
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery for maintenance needs or potential issues, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Assist with inventory management by accurately documenting production quantities and ensuring proper storage of materials
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
- Familiarity with packaging processes and machinery operation is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying product specifications
- Ability to operate within safety and operation guidelines.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
