Position Summary
The ICF Certified Facilitator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and supporting the delivery of decision-making training for a Senior Leadership Program. Working closely with Government leadership, the facilitator creates an engaging, learner-centered environment that develops high-performing civilian leaders capable of leading organizational transformation, improving mission outcomes, and strengthening leadership capacity.
The facilitator serves as both an instructor and leadership coach, guiding participants through experiential learning activities, facilitated discussions, leadership assessments, action learning projects, and developmental exercises that challenge participants to strengthen self-awareness, enhance leadership effectiveness, and apply newly acquired leadership competencies in their daily work environments.
Qualifications
- Qualifications: 20+ years of diversified organization development, leadership development, and human resources management experience, preferably some of those years spent delivering customized leadership development solutions to multiple federal agencies; experience to also include oversight of a long-term leadership program, including its assignments and projects
- Skills & Competencies: Facilitate conversations vital to individual, team, and organizational growth; Engage participants clients with positive energy, flexibility, and humility; Create a safe environment to evoke discovery, create possibility, and define actions for results.
- Education/Certifications: Degree(s) in or related to Business/Organization Development/Education; OPM 360; EQ-I 2.0; DiSC Dimensions of Behavior; Influence & change Style Indicator; ICF certification
