Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral health services. In this role, you will lead individualized assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform intervention strategies
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ensuring they are tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Perform intake evaluations and support diagnostic assessments for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate effective communication
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality and privacy
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field; BCBA certification is required
- Proven experience working with children who have disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessment methods
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in settings such as home-based therapy or school environments
- Ability to perform behavioral health assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop effective behavior intervention plans
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient care and family engagement
- Prior experience in clinical supervision or training behavior staff is preferred
