Duties
- Assist in supervising landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening activities to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support the management of construction projects, coordinating tasks and timelines effectively.
- Oversee crew management by assigning daily tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance on landscaping and hardscape installation.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including irrigation systems, landscaping tools, and company vehicles.
- Identify plants accurately to support horticulture efforts and ensure proper plant care practices are followed.
- Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Conduct outdoor work activities such as tree care, ground leveling, planting, and hardscape installation with attention to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping.
- Strong supervising experience with crew management and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and tree care techniques.
- Hands-on experience operating landscaping equipment and grounds maintenance tools.
- Familiarity with irrigation management systems and troubleshooting irrigation issues.
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects including hardscape installation.
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely during outdoor work activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate tasks effectively across teams.
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating resilience in various weather conditions.
