The Royal K9 Resort in YORBA LINDA is looking for K9 Enrichment Specialists that are good with animals, calm-assertive, motivated, and wants to grow with our company.
We have several positions available 7 days a week. Weekends are a must with rotating weekday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Managing dog playgroups
- Facilitate Enrichment activities
- Feeding if applicable
- cleaning up after dogs in play yard
- cleaning up kennel area
- following cleaning protocols for safe kennel environment
- Supervising and interacting with all sizes and breeds of dogs
- Solid work ethic AND high integrity - completing tasks in a timely manner
- Take dogs out to daycare yards
- Handle behavioral issues when they arise during daycare
- Attention to detail when observing the pack of dog’s health and behavior
- cross-training as Kennel Attendant positions for coverage if needed
Requirements:
- Ability to take direction and work independently, as well as part of a team
- Calm - Assertive Energy
- Willing to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Good communication skills, respectful and friendly
- Knowledge of dog behavior
- Physical stamina for cleaning and taking care of a large group of dogs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week

- As a K9 Enrichment Specialist, you must be able to stand/walk for up to 7 hours, ability to confidently handle dogs up to 120lbs, lift up to 30lbs, physically push/pull. Can you meet all those requirements?
