Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Water Treatment Service Technician and become a vital part of ensuring clean, safe, and efficient water systems for a variety of clients. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing water treatment equipment across commercial and industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair water treatment systems including filtration units, softeners, reverse osmosis equipment, and related plumbing components.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify system issues and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately assemble and troubleshoot complex water treatment machinery.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment parts and materials safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or client locations.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system operations, provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or construction plumbing with a strong understanding of pipe fitting and assembly techniques.
- Skilled in welding, carpentry, remodeling, or handyman tasks with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or mechanical systems related to water treatment is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial environments with an understanding of safety standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to system specifications, and troubleshooting diagnostics.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity.
