Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times
- Answer phone inquiries with clear communication and courteous phone etiquette
- Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests
- Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating and turnover
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods during shifts
