Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
Perform diagnostic testing including arterial blood gas collection and pulmonary function assessments.
Respond to emergency situations and assist with airway management and resuscitation efforts.
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.
