Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool 4 Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development, learning technology, and instructional design principles.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learning needs.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, document assessments, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special educational requirements, ensuring inclusive learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and classroom setup to enhance the overall learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development trends, Montessori or other educational philosophies, and new teaching tools or technologies.
- Maintain detailed records of student attendance, behavior management notes, and instructional activities in compliance with licensing standards.
- Support children’s physical activity through organized physical education sessions and facilitate library services or storytime activities to foster literacy skills.
Experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree required
- Prior experience working in preschool or early childhood education settings is essential; private school experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within an early childhood context.
- Proven ability to work effectively with young children, including toddlers and preschoolers with diverse needs or disabilities.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms for tracking student progress and communicating with families.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
