Seeking a motivated, sales-minded Customer Service Representative (CSR) to help grow our HVAC service business through proactive customer outreach, strong follow-up, and exceptional customer service.
The primary focus of this position is outbound customer engagement and generating service opportunities, while supporting other customer service and dispatch functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Make daily outbound calls to existing and past customers to generate HVAC service appointments
- Contact customers for seasonal maintenance, tune-ups, and preventive service
- Reactivate previous and inactive customers
- Follow up on unsold estimates, recommended repairs, and replacement opportunities
- Promote and sell preventive maintenance/service agreements
- Follow up on expiring and lapsed maintenance agreements
- Build relationships with residential and commercial customers to generate repeat business
- Maintain an organized pipeline of customer follow-ups and opportunities
- Coordinate appointments and opportunities with the Service Department
- Assist with incoming customer calls, scheduling, and dispatching as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity in company systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, outbound calling, inside sales, or similar experience preferred
- HVAC or home-service industry experience strongly preferred
- Confident, professional, and personable phone presence
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Strong sales, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Persistent, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- CRM or HVAC service software experience is a plus
What Success Looks Like
Success will be measured by customer contacts, appointments generated, maintenance agreements sold or renewed, customer reactivation, estimate follow-up, and overall service revenue opportunities generated.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys building customer relationships, consistently follows up, and wants to play a direct role in growing Garland Heating & Air Conditioning's service business.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
