About the Role
Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and skilled Groundskeeper to support the safe, clean, and welcoming appearance of our high school campus.
This role is essential to the day-to-day functioning and visual presence of the school.
As Groundskeeper, you'll take the lead in maintaining our outdoor spaces, landscaping, and general grounds upkeepcontributing to a positive learning environment for students and a professional setting for staff.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, show a strong commitment to safety and detail, and bring experience in groundskeeping or facilities maintenance, ideally in an educational setting.
You should be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment, maintaining turf and sprinkler systems, and assisting with general building upkeep.
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to adapt to changing tasks, and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset are essential.
Applicants must have a valid Oregon Driver's License, and access to personal transportation. A valid herbicide applicator's license is required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Experience in grounds and building maintenanceespecially in a school settingis preferred. Familiarity with turf care, landscaping, irrigation systems, and general maintenance is highly valued.
Candidates must be able to read instructions, write reports, and pass a criminal background check.

Position Details:
Title: Groundskeeper - High School
Placement (location): Eagle Point High School, Eagle Point, OR
Supervisor: Principal/Building Services Supervisor
Contract Days: 261 days, 8 hours per day, to begin immediately
Salary Range: $18.70 - $26.60 per hour, depending upon previous, full-time experience in a similar position
Salary listed indicates current 2023-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement - subject to change
