Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional service and support. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their vehicles, ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the service area.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with valet parking services.
- Safely drive vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and provide assistance as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the parking area and service facilities.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately when needed.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management or sales-related tasks.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in delivering items or messages to guests as requested.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless operation and positive guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in valet parking or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is beneficial.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in guest services will be advantageous.
