Job Title: Coordinator Consumer Products Hardlines Licensing

Compensation: $36.00-$40.00/hr
Details: 12 month contract (opportunity to extend or convert, W-2 and benefits eligible)
Our growing global Consumer Products team brings our members' favorite stories to life through products and experiences. The team is responsible for overseeing the business and creative execution across merchandise creation, product development, licensee and retailer relationships, publishing, marketing, as well as a global division focused on live experiences. Our overall goal is to ensure that our consumer products are present in the right categories and distribution channels to deliver fan joy whenever and wherever those fans are.
The Coordinator, CP Hardlines Licensing, will be responsible for supporting strategy and execution for hardlines programs in UCAN (US and Canada) with both Globa and UCANl partners. They will support a team across the hardlines categories. They will help oversee key licensees in growing and developing their business with us, with a special focus on Preschool master toy partners. The individual would be a taskmaster extraordinaire who will assist in the day to day deliverables, working alongside internal as well as external partners. The successful candidate will be a detailed oriented dynamic professional who has an understanding of the toy manufacturer process and timelines.
This role is an hourly position and will be based in our Los Angeles office.
Key responsibilities :
- Help drive business by supporting the Hardlines Licensing team on tasks related to category management, facilitating information between external and internal stakeholders and maintaining communication of product and partner plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather and distribute brand and marketing updates to share out with licensing partners.
- Partner with creative, marketing and other cross-functional teams to keep product development, marketing and general partnerships on track to attain commercial objectives
- Maintain and update internal systems and docs with category licensing plans and activity.
- Collaborate with licensing partners to obtain placement updates and distribute to internal business partners.
- Assist Hardlines Licensing Team with compiling reports following product launches.
- Prepare, distribute and track deal memos and final agreements to ensure deals are processed efficiently through all steps.
- Work with Hardlines Licensing Team to onboard new licensees.
- Facilitate receipt of forecasts and send royalty payment reminders as needed.
What we need from you:
- Demonstrated 3+ years of experience supporting or as a member of a Preschool Global Brand Team (GBT) Marketing or Toys Brand Marketing team with a specific focus on global programs.
- Proven experience supporting global brand teams execute plans that drive growth and deliver results. Retail Development, Merchant, or Licensing experience is a plus
- Demonstrated success working on Preschool brands. Girls, Boys, and kidult / adult collectibles experience is a plus
- Experience working with multiple regions and understanding of the workings of regional stakeholders
- Understanding of category manufacturing and sales cycle for toys.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment

- Possess attention to details with superb organizational skills.
