Staffing Agency is looking for a Vice President of People and Culture for their client a top entertainment company. All candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area. This position is fully in person in office role. Must have minimum of 10 years + Human Resource experience.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Hands-on Executive HR leadership and business partnership
- Talent acquisition and retention
- Successful mediating conflicts and grievances
- Performance management and leadership development
- Compensation, benefits, and payroll oversight
- Multi-state employment law and tax compliance
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Develop and support employee training, relations and culture building
- Develop and support positive company working culture / environment
- Participate and plan company events and employment engagement activities
- M&A integration and change management
- Vendor and PEO management (especially G&A Partners)
- Payroll controls, audits, and financial collaboration
- Able interact with all levels and the company and related businesses
- Able to constantly keep up to date on laws, regulations, and standards
- Special projects and other duties as needed
Skills and requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is a plus)
- 10 years + Human Resource experience (including Payroll, Compensation, benefits and recruiting)
- Vice President HR level experience
- Entertainment, media, talent agency, or management experience
- Experience supporting rapid company growth
- Extensive knowledge of California and multi-state employment laws, tax laws and compliance regulations
- Experience working with executive leadership and boards and 3rd Party benefit suppliers
- Effective negotiating skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Able to interact with all levels of the company
- Positive attitude
Salary: $175,000–$225,000 DOE plus benefits
Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
