JRT HUNT INC. manufacturing is a local aerospace and defense machine shop and we are in need of a skilled CNC Mill/lathe Setup/Operator. We are searching for a motivated highly skilled machinist with 3 yrs experience, with an Aerospace manufacturing environment is a plus. We need employees that are flexible with a strong personal motivation for success, integrity, high energy, professional attitudes and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- (calibration, cycle times etc.) to start an improve production cycle times
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a LATHE machinist operator/set up (TWIN SPINDLE LIVE TOOLING EXPERIENCE A PLUS)
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent
Day shift position is 6:00am to 4:30pm Mon-Thu, Friday 6:00am-11:00 am.
Night shift Position offered is full time, 4-10 hour shift 3:30Pm-2:00Am Monday - Thursday, 401K, Paid holidays, Paid vacation, Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage is available.
