Job Overview
Seaking a driven and motivated assistant manager for Pizzeria Valdiano Must have great communication and customer service skills and knowledge of the kitchen. Needs to have good customer service skills because we deal with the public. We are located next to a movie theater with high traffic and need to juggle being able to take care of customers accordingly and manage staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the kitchen and banquet services, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills in food management and hospitality practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events, ensuring all aspects of service meet guest expectations.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in banquet management or a similar hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen management principles.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Proficient in inventory control processes to optimize resource utilization.
- Effective communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and vendors professionally.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in interviewing candidates and building cohesive teams within the hospitality sector.
