About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Kitchen Cabinet Designer / Office Assistant to join our growing team in Stuart, Florida. The ideal candidate has experience with 2020 Design software and enjoys working directly with customers to create functional and beautiful kitchen designs. This position combines design, customer service, sales support, and general office administration in a professional kitchen cabinet showroom.
Responsibilities
- Design kitchen layouts using 2020 Design software
- Create cabinet drawings, layouts, and presentations
- Prepare accurate cabinet quotes, estimates, and proposals based on customer designs and selections
- Calculate pricing for cabinetry and related products while ensuring quotes are complete and accurate
- Meet with customers to discuss their design needs and product selections
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers
- Process orders and maintain accurate customer records
- Perform general office and administrative duties
- Maintain an organized and professional showroom environment
- Work closely with team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with additional office tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with 20/20 Design software is required
- Previous experience in kitchen cabinet design or the cabinetry industry is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Highly focused with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
