Under the supervision of the ELC Program Director, this position is responsible for dual roles of providing administrative support and acting as lead teacher in the classroom.
High school diploma/GED required
Minimum of 12 hours of academic study or equivalent training in child development, early childhood education, including administration of early childhood programs, AA in ECE or BA or BS in related field preferred Minimum of one year of experience as a lead teacher in an early learning center
Hold or be able to obtain a KDHE Program Director Approval (PDA) for up to 100 infant/toddler/preschool/ school-age children or youth
Experience supervising adults and/or volunteers
CPR, AED, First Aid certification prefered.
