Summary
JOB SUMMARY: Assists providers with efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care, perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities to include, but not limited to: measuring/recording vital signs, collecting specimens and administering injections. Administrative tasks include answering phones, maintaining physician schedules, ordering supples, and performing other administrative duties.
REQUIREMENTS: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of experience. Certified Medical Assistant for designated practices, American Heart Association CPR Card.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Assist in patient care by taking vital signs and conducting intake assessments.
- Utilize EHR systems to document patient information accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to enhance patient interactions.
- Support healthcare professionals in various settings, including outpatient clinics and urgent care facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.76 - $19.00 per hour
