About the Opportunity
True Safety is seeking an experienced Project Safety Manager for a major industrial construction project at a large manufacturing facility in Golden, Colorado.
This is a dedicated, full-time contract position supporting the installation of a new automated production line. The selected professional will serve as the Owner's onsite safety representative, coordinating safety efforts among multiple contractors while ensuring OSHA compliance and maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the project.

Responsibilities
- Provide full-time onsite safety leadership throughout the project
- Conduct daily field inspections and safety audits
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and safe work plans
- Monitor OSHA compliance and project safety requirements
- Coordinate safety activities among multiple contractors
- Lead weekly safety meetings
- Oversee high-risk work including:
- Crane operations
- Critical lifts
- Structural steel
- Fall protection
- Scaffolding
- MEWPs
- Hot work
- Lockout/Tagout
- Electrical work
- Commissioning activities
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage events
- Track corrective actions through completion
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports
- Possess stop-work authority for imminent danger situations
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of industrial construction safety experience
- 5+ years serving as a Lead Project Safety Manager
- OSHA 30 Construction
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Experience on projects valued over $20 million
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors
- Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
- CSP
- CHST
- ASP
- Manufacturing or industrial facility experience
- Automation or equipment installation experience
- SIMOPS experience
- Local to Colorado or willing to commute
Compensation
$35-$55/hour (1099)
